I offer a unique approach called Walk & Talk therapy, which has proven effective for a variety of clients and situations. Instead of sitting in a traditional therapy room, the client and I take a stroll outdoors during the session. Being in nature, breathing fresh air, and moving tends to stimulate the production of feel-good neurotransmitters like serotonin and dopamine, which can help alleviate symptoms of depression, stress and anxiety.
Walk & Talk therapy is particularly helpful for clients who feel anxious in more conventional, face-to-face counselling settings, or for those who spend most of their day in an office.
Walking in an informal, open environment can feel less intimidating and can help release inhibitions, like for those who struggle with issues like social anxiety. It also removes some of the stigma associated with seeking therapy, helping to normalize the experience.
The added movement allows me to observe things like breath, pace, and posture, which can offer valuable insights into a client’s emotional state and be integrated into the therapeutic process.
Walk & Talk therapy is not about exercise or weight loss. The focus is entirely on you—your experience, your process, and your comfort level. It provides space to address difficult topics, understand challenges, and learn coping strategies, all while enjoying a calming, meditative walk outside.

Everyone perceives and responds to stress and anxiety differently based on their unique experiences and perspectives. Stress, as we know, refers to the pressure or tension we feel when faced with external stimuli or outside forces. It shows up as physical symptoms—headaches, stomachaches, or panic attacks—but it can also be experienced without visible symptoms that range from feeling a lack of energy, lack of appetite or inertia, confusion or indecisiveness. It is important to recognize these moments and feelings and reach out for help to alleviate some of these stressors.
Working with a therapist is different from talking to a friend or family member. My uniqueness to the process lies in designing short to medium-term therapeutic plans with clear goalposts that we can keep re-visiting and re-evaluating.
You can access my therapeutic services from the comfort of your home through virtual individual counselling sessions and also in person. These sessions typically last 60 minutes, depending on your needs and what we have agreed upon beforehand.
Virtually, I offer this service through secure, reliable video conferencing software, using various internet-based tools to facilitate these sessions. To make the most of these sessions, I ask that clients create a safe, private environment where they can avoid potential distractions, ensure that their devices are fully charged; and that they're in a comfortable spot with adequate lighting, where their face is visible and your voice is audible.
Your privacy is my priority.

I offer customized workshops upon request for small groups of three to five clients (women and adolescents or youth). These workshops are tailored to the specific needs of the group, taking into account factors such as gender, age, and the particular issues that need to be addressed. The goal is to empower you with tools you can use to navigate challenges, grow personally, and apply important life skills to your daily lives.
The workshops focus on areas like dealing with anxiety, peer pressure, building self-awareness, developing healthy coping mechanisms or practising self-care. It's important to note that these are not group counselling sessions and therefore, do not deep dive into personal emotional issues. They focus on helping participants develop a specific set of life skills aimed at improving the quality of their everyday lives.
During these activity-based sessions, participants have the opportunity to learn, practice, and internalize these life skills in a safe and supportive environment that nurtures mental wellness.
My aim with these workshops is to ensure that participants aren’t just passive recipients of advice but active participants in their own growth and well-being, capable of making responsible choices that support their mental wellness and development.
